Ground Venison Teriyaki Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Silver Fern Farms Ground Venison
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2-3 cloves fresh garlic, grated
  • 1/2-inch fresh ginger, grated
  • Butter lettuce leaves, washed + dried
  • 1 Persian cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, shaved
  • 1/2 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1 handful cilantro

Ground Venison Teriyaki Wraps

Method

Remove Silver Fern Farms Ground Venison from the fridge and packaging. In a large frying pan, add venison, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic. Break venison into pieces, combine with the teriyaki sauce, and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until venison is fully ground and cooked through. Transfer to a heatproof bowl.

While venison is cooking, prepare the toppings. Wash and dry lettuce and cilantro, slice the cucumber, shave the carrot into thin strips, and chop peanuts.

Once venison is cooked, assemble ingredients on a large platter and serve immediately.

Silver Fern Farms Venison Medallions don’t need much to taste amazing: they’re unbelievably tender and velvety and have a delicate, herb-forward flavor. We quickly sear them in a hot pan, so they stay really juicy — and then baste them with a little bit of butter for added richness. The result? Delectable, perfectly cooked venison medallions that taste incredible drizzled in huckleberry sauce, alongside glazed carrots, or on a green salad with blue cheese and berries.
