Customers can choose their product packaging to suit. Currently, we offer products packaged in a liner-less carton or plate frozen naked block. Other packaging and product formats can be developed in consultation with customer partners.

We have comprehensive systems and policies in place to ensure welfare of animals throughout our chain of care. Our processing sites abide by strict animal welfare policies and operate a humane slaughter program to ensure stress to animals is minimised. The Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) certifies our products against these requirements.

Traceability

Traceability is important for product safety & quality assurance programs to protect our livestock from disease and harm, as well as farmers' livelihoods and New Zealand’s reputation as a leading supplier of premium farm products. We can geographically trace all sheep, beef, and venison livestock processed at our sites.

In addition, cattle & deer are recorded in the National Animal Identification and Traceability (NAIT) system managed by the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), providing auditable evidence of the provenance of our products.
