This week the country paused to observe Anzac Day and pay our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 

After this and the Easter weekend I hope you managed to enjoy a break and spend some time with friends and family, though we’re acutely aware that significant pressure still remains on farm in some parts of the country. We continue to work hard on your behalf to clear processing backlogs and keep stock moving off farm.

It’s still all hands to the pump here, and we have a lot of activity planned over the coming weeks. On 11 May, the Co-operative are holding their Annual Meeting at the Distinction Hotel in Dunedin. While it will be pleasing to reflect on the financial performance of the last year, we remain firmly focused on the current year. Towards the end of next month there will be a strong delegation of Silver Fern Farms in the US engaging with customers in our second largest market.
