Supplier Update 11 July 2022

Last week we welcomed over 500 guests to our 2022 Plate to Pasture Farmer Conference at the Te Pae Convention Centre in Christchurch.

This was our biggest Conference ever in terms of farmer suppliers present and it was fantastic to not only hear from some interesting external perspectives, but come together as a group to celebrate after a long season on farm.

During last year’s conference, we made some bold statements and commitments for the business, and it was rewarding to be able to address suppliers again this year and demonstrate the progress that we’ve made.

The main message we had across all presentations was our view that despite the challenges we face into over the next few years, we still have a positive outlook for the red meat sector and our suppliers.

What’s more, there’s a serious amount of investment in the business to ensure our collective success continues over a longer term.

Click here to watch a quick summary of some of the key themes of the Conference. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be providing you with more information on some of the key Silver Fern Farms presentations and announcements.

And click here to read today’s Market Report and get an update on some of the external speakers at the Conference, find out who won our 2022 Plate to Pasture Award, and get our regular insights into the markets.

Nga mihi,

Simon
