  • 1 pack Silver Fern Farms PURE 97% Venison & Beef Burgers with Venison Short Rib
  • 6 lettuce cups, large 
  • 12 rashers streaky bacon

PICKLED RED ONION

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced 
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp caster sugar

TO SERVE

  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Aioli

Lamb Rump Burger with Aioli and Pomegranate Slaw

Method

Remove Lamb Burgers with Rump from the freezer and packaging. Preheat BBQ or pan to high heat.

Reduce BBQ or pan to low-medium heat. Add burgers and cook for 8 minutes (5 minutes if defrosted). Flip and pierce burgers to allow juices to run free. Cook for a further 4-6 minutes (3-5 minutes if defrosted).

To make the slaw, add red cabbage, green cabbage, spring onion, carrot, coriander, and pomegranate to a bowl. Mix in aioli.

To serve, spread aioli onto each toasted bun base. Add lamb burgers, cheese, and red onion rings. Finish with the slaw and add the top buns.
